The aromas of the heart note gradually unfold and determine the character of the respective fragrance. The scent opens with a stimulating and dynamic freshness, with the citrus notes of bergamot, tangerine, orange and lemon and the woody end note hinges on an accord of sandalwood, cedar wood and tobacco musk. At the heart of the scent, Lavender provides a soul of pure, dry freshness, like a Mediterranean breeze, while Cedarwood lends it its masculine structure. drydown on clothes smells like you just put on new shirt with high quality laundry smell,imo it is really beautiful and gently. This smells like a highly linear, more synthetic version of Febreeze, or a New Yankee Candle's "Fresh Linen" candle line.

I'm sitting here thinking this fragrance will not get the compliments and I will just enjoy it by myself and I'm wrong about that statement.I love the citrusy casual positive character this fragrance projects, but it is elegant at the same time. However, if you're looking for an easy-to-wear fragrance, this is definitely one of the better "dumb reach" fragrances you can wear.

Longevity is phenomenal like I smell from under my t shirt even after 10-12 hrs but I apply vaseline on my chest to make it long lasting though. Sure there are minor differences to the 1994 original release but the differences are primarily concerning depth and complexity but the Made in France is really good enough and its the nearest version to the vintage. The base notes form the foundation of the fragrance, rounds off the smell experience and gives the fragrance a certain degree of depth. It is a very nice green verbena leading into a floracity with some light powder finishing in a woody dryness in the base.

The inspiration is Mediterranean sensuality, Sicilian mandarin gives a sparkling fresh top note, The Sicilian mandarin is combined with frozen grapefruit peel, bergamot and juniper.

Although the profile is quite simple, it is still interesting throughout the day and never gets boring! So, after my fragrance journey of 100s of colognes later, this is still a timeless classic that will remain in my rotation for life. Signature scent worthy,yes but dry down has lot to be desired and I always somehow compare this to Versace Dreamer and Dreamer is better in the current formulation than this. Man I remember the first time I had a bottle of the stuff was in 2009 when they had the metal plaque on the front. I actually think the newer formulation is better because of the ever so slight increase in versatility and richness that naturally comes along with adding more woods and sweetness to a fragrance. And the smell - sorry to burst your bubble, but the opening is nearly identical to the UK and Germany formulations.One advantage is that I have not used the Euroitalia vintage version prior to this so my judgment is based on the new Made in France version of Shiseido/BPI version of 2018. We both have changed a little bit over the years but underneath all of that, we are both still the same.
