There are several chargers from CTEK in this list, and this CS ONE option is the top dog of the range. It's a smart charger that can repair, maintain, charge and detect bad cells, as well as a host of other features. However, they require very different charging characteristics, and as such, you should be careful not to pair the wrong charger with the battery, as this can have a negative effect on the battery and can even be dangerous. Why even consider using an oxford charger if you have a good LiPo charger? most will do Pb, and do it far better than even the top end automotive poo. If this is hooked up to the mains and battery whilst still hooked to the bike with the O connector cables, can it be used to jump start thebike? January 7, 2020 This will be fine - let the battery stand for an hour before charging, and leave the cap off while charging for the firsttime.

Oximiser 900 can be left permanently connected to provide guaranteed long term battery care. Suitable for all 12V ... Hi does this optimiser come with all the leads or is it just the unit , withoutleads November 7, 2019 Charge the unit, and then take it on tour. Once charged, it'll hold its power for a year and will recover a dead bike battery enough to start your engine in around 15 minutes. The charge is delivered to your battery progressively, too – reducing the risk of jump-start damage. It's absolutely superb and really works. Yes, it's a pricey solution, but it works brilliantly and is invaluable if you're off the grid where your bike lives.AnswerThe Oximiser 3X can be used on lithium batteries, however all our other chargers have not been tested to be used on lithium batteries.

The Oxford Oximiser comes supplied with a connection wire which can be permanently attached to your battery. The wire leading from the battery ends in a connection point which can be placed in a convenient position such as under the seat etc.Is this suitable for a Harley Davidson Sportster 48 with an absorbed glass matt (AGM)battery? Tested by Richard Newland for 4 months. Quality 5/5, Value 3/5. Bike batteries are getting smaller and lighter – but the stress our bikes put on them with ever-more powerful electronics systems and auxiliary add-ons is getting greater than ever. It doesn't take much to find you're out of juice when you hit the magic starter button. But if you don't have bike storage with mains electricity, what do you do? You get one of these. Fast and efficient charging in all modes keeps charge times short and reduces main power consumption I don't really want to try push some juice into it with the other battery, as I don't fancy trying to bump start the ZX7R at 8am tomorrow in case of failure/battery death.

The only Oximiser that Oxford list that is suitable for lithium LifePO4 batteries is the 3X, and so we would not recommend using the Oximiser900. Is this charge suitable for Lithium Batteries. I have read some manufacturer statements saying as long as they are not left on for long periods and the chargers don't charge at 15+ volts they should befine? January 29, 2018

How are these with the outdoors? If I were to use it in my shed that doesn't offer a sealed environment away from the cold, would itcope? November 21, 2017 The measurements are approximately 34 inches from the plug to charger, the lead from the charger to the connector is around 37 inches, and there is around 12 inches length on the battery connection lead. There is no difference between this and the AnniversaryEdition. The suggestion was to deep discharge the fooked unit by attaching a car headlamp to it and let it run down.

The Oximiser 3X has three charging modes. One is for smaller batteries under 36Ah that charges at 14.4v and 0.8A. The next mode is for bigger batteries, MF and Gel and charges at 14.4v at up to 3.6Amps. The third mode is for AGM batteries as used in the stop-start systems on many modern cars. These require a slightly higher charge voltage of 14.7v at the same 3.6 Amps. In comparison my old Optimate III is a motorcycle-only charger with a maximum charge rate of 0.8A. Does it mean you can connect it to your bike whilst you are riding it, or just when it is instorage? November 30, 2011 The last post was made 8 years, 19 days ago.
