Description

How about an even bigger gun? How about six guns on one chunky tank? The Kratos Heavy Assault Tank is one of the most well-armed-and-armoured tanks on the battlefields of the Horus Heresy. It’s got a dizzying variety of guns – choose from three massive main weapons for the turret, four paired hull weapons, and four different duos of sponson weapons. If you prefer a more punishing arsenal, then the first Heavy Weapons Upgrade Set comes with 10 missile launchers and 10 heavy bolters, along with all the arms you’ll need to “arm” every pose of MKVI Space Marine as a Heavy Support Squad. These weapons are perfect for disposing of armour or shredding elite infantry, and the kit also comes with four augury scanners.

This upgrade kit can be used to customise Legionaries from the MKVI Tactical Squad set with new heads, replacing the standard helmets with Ultramarines-specific headgear. The kit includes nine helmeted heads in three different designs, each with armour panel seams and alternative grille pattterns, as well as two heads designed for Sergeants – one bare head with noble features and a laurel wreath, and one beaked helm with an impressive transverse crest. Spread these components around your army to add some XIII Legion flavour, or outfit entire squads for an elite, unified look. Ultramarines MKVI Shoulder Pads: January 21st, 2023 To manifest the psychic power, you must first pass a Psychic test. The opposing player can then select one of their PSYKER units that is within 24" of the PSYKER unit attempting to manifest the power and attempt to deny that power before its effects are resolved by passing a Deny the Witch test.Complete the look with a set of 10 resin shoulder pads. These are proudly emblazoned with the heraldry of Ferrus Manus – personally, if we’d managed to dunk our hands in molten metal, we wouldn’t want to be reminded of it, but Ferrus is clearly made of sterner stuff. Iron Hands Cataphractii Shoulder Pads: November 11th, 2022

MKIV ‘Maximus Armour’ offers a balance of agility and durability, and finds itself right at home in the Legions of Ultramar, which are renowned for their strategic flexibility. Customised by the artificers of the 500 Worlds, these MKIV torsos feature additional armour plating over their power cables – which leaves plenty of room for fancy sculpted Legion motifs. Ultramarines Veteran Helmets: December 17th, 2022The box that you’ve been waiting for. Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness is a titanic offering. Available in English, French, and German, this box contains 54 plastic miniatures – two distinct Praetors, 40 Tactical Space Marines in Mark VI power armour, 10 Cataphractii Terminators, a Contemptor Dreadnought, and a Spartan Assault Tank. Everything except the Terminators are brand-new models. Mark IV ‘Maximus Armour’ was designed to offer a fine balance of agility and durability, exploiting many of the advanced technologies recovered by the Great Crusade. Its comparatively lightweight design, armoured external cabling, and redesigned helm make it prized amongst the Legiones Astartes – in the Age of Darkness, the Mark IV is perhaps the most common pattern of power armour seen across the galaxy.

I’ve already painted up the first 10, and when then box arrives I could happily paint up the other 40 in there too. It says a lot about the model when I’m already brain-storming ideas on what else I could use them for too. The multipose plastic Mk IV Tactical Squad is also being rereleased for the glorious new edition of the Warhammer: Horus Heresy. Once again, you get 20 highly detailed Space Marines in “Maximus” armour ready to join your Legion and defend/conquer the Imperium of Man (delete as appropriate). Ahzek Ahriman Line Sub Type: These are the only scoring units in your army. Unlike other games, only Line units are able to take, hold, and deny objectives, making them very important to field to be able to score points and win games. Some other units gain this sub type through Rites of War but they’re most commonly on your Troops (but not all of them!).

This smörgasboard of Horus Heresy goodness doesn’t stop there – the fine minds at Forge World are also getting in on the action. The Primarchs
