I just can’t help but feel like this fragrance is missing something, like a stand-out note. It’s a little too generic for me. Just softly sweet with a spiced woodsy base. For a budget cologne, it’s pleasant enough – but it doesn’t stand out from the crowd enough for me. These top notes last throughout the lifetime of the fragrance. It’s linear, rather than evolving. There’s wood in the base, but Wave doesn’t just degenerate into a generic woody musk-like plenty of other men’s perfumes. I would say that this synthetic ambergris represents the core of the fragrance, around which all the other notes have been slowly and carefully added. Suppose the initial aroma could recall some other known fragrance. In that case, the heart confirms the similarity with the amber-fougère-oriental cologne of the calibre of Ultra Mâle and Eros Eau de Toilette. After visiting the most frivolous fragrances, Festival Vibes for Him and Festival Party for Him, the time has come to describe this gem that wants to challenge the warriors of the night. Festival Nite presents itself as very interesting and is better than I thought.
