That's because due to the layout size, some keys are smaller than standard sizes in sets. You may need to mix and match keycaps if you are striving for a complete theme. If you do need to use the K2 with a Windows or Android machine, Keychron includes Windows-specific caps in the box. Just make sure to remember to switch the side toggle to Windows/Android mode. The best part about the K2 is that it can work wirelessly with multiple devices, and it has the Mac-centric function keys. These features aren't as common as I'd like in the mechanical keyboard world, so it's nice to have. Of course, the RGB lighting isn't too noticeable during the day, but it really shines at night. The default keycaps are also shine-through, so the RGB will light up the legends on the keys, making it easy to type in a dark room. The warranty period starts when the product(s) is delivered to the first end-user. The Keychron K2 V2 comes with several essential items that will help get you set up immediately. The items you’ll find in the box are: Default MacOS layout was a plus for me, you can toggle to Windows mode if you are using it and also has keys that you can replace to suit the Windows layout Since I have Gateron brown switches, the sound is a little louder than if I had opted for a linear switch. If you go with the Gateron reds there will be less movement and therefore less noise. Brown: Gateron browns are tactile switches, so they will have a medium noise level. These can be a good choice for general typing use or even for gaming.

The default gray ABS keycaps that it comes with (unless you get the PBT keycap version) are slightly curved, giving it a nice, tactile feel as you type. Overall I would say go for it. You will never find a mechanical keyboard that is built as well as this, with all the features that it offers, and at the price that this keyboard retails for. A must buy if you are into mechanical keyboards and work on the Mac. The keycaps on the K2 V2 are doubleshot, with the sub legends also having a shine-through effect. This is a small touch that I appreciate a lot, most companies would simply print the legends on. One last disclaimer: when I brought it, I was unable to find a single wireless ~75% layout in India from any reputed brand, so my options were limited and it may not be the best valueForMoney product to buy when you’re buying it.
