Description

Includes additional resin parts to create the version of Eagle 1 that featured a lab pod as well as the booster pack. The kit comes with an extensive water-slide decal sheet, a full-colour deco guide, and assembly instructions. Fitting Part 37 around the fuel tanks proved tricky; I installed the combustion chambers (parts 38 and 39), then added the fuel pipe (Part 42). Parts are provided in off-white, gray and clear, and the kit includes all necessary marking decals so it can be built without the need for paint if desired.

Includes a copy of Roberto Baldassari's ultimate Eagle blueprints and Phil Rae's blueprint reprinted from SIG magazine.See The Gerry Anderson Memorabilia Guide (Dennis Nicholson) p218, Sci Fi and Fantasy Models No 39 p44. They include three options for the crew module windows: blacked out, crew in helmets, or crew without helmets. The Eagle Transporter is the iconic capital spacecraft featured in the Gerry Anderson show Space 1999. Each opening sequence of the first season of the "Space: 1999" television program provided a sneak peek at the action, excitement and explosions that would lie ahead. Packed full of features: New season 2 uniformed pilot figures come with the kit as well as new “soft landing” shoulder pod landing gear action.

x 3" colour sheet of decals for the MPC/Airfix/Ertl Eagle kit (enough -with care- to cover two Eagles). The module is about 5 inches in length, although following the more detailed 1/24 command module seen in close-up. Garage kits are made of polyurethane resin in limited numbers by non-professionals (unlike styrene injection molded kits produced by mainstream companies like Airfix, Revell, AMT and Tamiya). This model is a very impressive display piece and is a must if you really want to show off your Eagle Transporter. Next, I jumped to Step 21 to build the cargo/passenger pod and painted it orange with gray window surrounds to represent a VIP module.

I noticed in the roof of the module and there are parts shown in place in the instructions but no part numbers. It is the same scale as the MPC kit and attachments and decals produced by Tangents and Small Art Works may be used with it.

MPC introduces this all-new, accurately proportioned, and detailed kit of the iconic spacecraft in a precise 1/72 scale which can be decorated in one of three ways.Initially included as part of MPC's Nuclear Waste Area 2 Diorama, MPC are now releasing the buggy with added features in its own kit! In its first appearance in the episode, War Games, a squadron of ships decimated Moonbase Alpha’s fleet of Eagle Transporters. It was ideal for industrial and agricultural uses with “wide appeal among sportsmen who do not want to be limited by terrain”.

Each kit features authentic details copied from the production props like the buttons, knobs, and switches. I spent 24 hours building MPC’s Eagle and recommend it to intermediate modelers and above looking to add one or more transports to their collection. This edition of the 22” Eagle from MPC features shoulder pod and engine configuration from Eagle 2 and the famous laboratory pod featured in the “Metamorph” episode of Space: 1999. The set includes options for three versions of the stun gun and includes viewscreen and ID badge variants on the water-slide decal sheet. There are also blueprints reproduced from the Moonbase Alpha Technical Notebook and a short merchandise guide.Sold in a bubble pack, with red and black card art (series logo and rescue Eagle over lunar surface, art by Graham Bleathman). The Ultra Probe command module has been a popular product for various garage kit manufacturers, possibly because they could recast an existing replica. Accurate" decals and detailed instruction sheet (the parts breakdown is exactly the same as the 22 inch version). Building the landing-leg modules presented no issues and I marked each one when finished to be clear about their locations. MPC gives you three painting options for the Eagle: a plain white transport, a red-and-white striped rescue module, and the orange VIP transport I built.
