Products labelled '*item fulfilled by Exertis on behalf of hmv' will be supplied to you directly by Exertis via their approved couriers. However there is one glaring omission Celine Dion "Ne partez pas sans moi" 1988 winner for Switzerland, why? Gina G, Verka Serduchka and Dana International bring the dance-floor classics, whilst Lordi and Måneskin brought Rock to the contest – and won! Winners Ruslana, Helena Paparizou and Emmelie De Forest are featured along with favourites from the past decade from The Roop and Eleni Foureira.

This unique 3 CD album features 70 of the most memorable songs from the contests history – including enduring fan favourites alongside massive selling winners. ABBA with ‘Waterloo’ followed by two of the UK’s all-time favourite winners from Bucks Fizz and Brotherhood Of Man… the first disc includes the anthems ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Love Shine A Light’ before contemporary favourites; Duncan Laurence’s ‘Arcade’, Måns Zelmerlöw with ‘Heroes’ and the stunning ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’ from Conchita – plus the massively popular winner ‘Fairytale’ from Alexander Rybak.

The Olsen Brothers’ winner is included, and the disc finishes with 4 more winning songs from Jamala, Marija Šerifović, Secret Garden, and the first of four 1990’s victors representing Ireland, Eimear Quinn with ‘The Voice’. Note: it comes in a cardboard gatefold sleeve rather than a jewel case - not my favourite format to be honest, but it's nice and compact for the shelf! The earlier years of the contest are celebrated on LP5 – with the classic ‘Congratulations’ by Cliff Richard leading the track list. Sadly it’s just a cardboard trifold sleeve, no booklet or pictures, the contest has been quite the visual experience over the years, just to see the fashion and hairstyles over the years would have been fun! Over on side 2, ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’ from Conchita opens, followed by Måns Zelmerlöw with ‘Heroes’ and favourites from Verka Serduchka, and Netta.

One of the greatest singers ever, Céline Dion won the contest back in 1988 and leads Disc 3, which also includes ‘What’s Another Year’ and ‘Hold Me Now’ from Johnny Logan, plus Nicole’s well-loved ‘A Little Peace’.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. It has most of the hits that you would expect but there are a few that I suspect the record company couldn’t include like Cliff Richard’s Congratulations etc most probably due to licensing or copyright issues. This compilation brings all of the popular (not necessarily my favourite Eurovision songs) together in one collection. I really like this album as it manages to incapsulate the very essence of what the Eurovision Song Contest is all about.
