Pepper, caramel and honey are stand out flavours in this intense bourbon and it’s certainly one to remember. Main gin product is smooth and refreshing, exceptional quality and there are some further liquors and flavoured variants to try. You wouldn’t know it from the nose as it’s light and unassuming but once you sip you’ll taste the depth of sweetness within this bourbon alongside the toasty alcohol burn.

The nose is awash with sweet cherries and classic vanilla and on the palate you’ll enjoy an intense heat that mellows into a mesh of peaches, cherries, cinnamon and orange zest.A classic Speyside offering, Glenfiddich’s 12 Year Old blend spends time in both American and European oak casks, developing a truly distinguished flavour. Bulleit Rye has a mashbill of 95% rye and just 5% malted barley and is produced in small batches, allowing the flavour to really bloom. The aromatic herbs are a closely guarded secret, with the identity and proportions only known by the heirs of the family who make Xoriguer.

It’s crucial to get your glass as cold as possible by initially stirring a few ice cubes around the glass to chill it.Visited in June 2022 on a TUI organised trip from our hotel in Cala Blanca , we have visited Mahon before so we treated this as a nice way to spend half a day and we were not disappointed.
