About this deal

We have family members who are so picky about learning new games and they were obsessed with this game after just one round. I was thinking a great first-day activity would be to play Green Team Wins with my classes (with makeshift components for all the added players). We're always happy to answer any questions or queries you might have, please get in touch using one of the methods below. To win, get on the Green Team, stay on the Green Team, and win - because that's what the Green Team does.

So joining the green team gets you one point, staying on the green team gets you two points, and anything else gets you zero. If you’re reading this thinking “This all sounds awfully familiar” there’s a chance you fall into one of two camps (or both). There is also a penalty if you are the most recent outcast (only person who wrote a non-matching answer). Some of the questions are ridiculous (in a good way) such as which cereal mascot is putting in the most work? As the outstanding balance, plus the interest now form part of your payable balance they will attract interest at your account rate, meaning you will pay interest on interest. What are some different summer-inspired questions you can think of, in the style of Green Team Wins? It's also a fast playing game, so great for multiple rounds or you just play a quick round when you have 15minutes to fill. You’ve also got these two sided cardboard tokens showing what team you’re on, Green or Orange – best if you’re always on the Green team. I used to assume that most of my readers are from my side of the pond, but things have changed over the last year or two, and now I have twice as many US readers as UK!

Green Team Wins is a party game for, really as many people as you want, but there’s pieces in the box for up to 12 players. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. The current – and as I understand it from what 25th Century Games say here, all future printings – only supports up to six players. If you’re in the UK and are finding it hard to get Green Team Wins, I recommend getting Herd Mentality. While I had a pretty good time with Green Team Wins several times, there is some frustration with having to rifle through questions to find any that are worth asking. If you want to play with more than 6, here is a printable one page sheet you can use with regular pencil or pen to play with to easily expand the number of players.

And, since we’ve played a bunch of party games, we expected it to be easy to drop in, drop out, and for it to be quick to play without having to learn a lot of rules. This game may have scored a bit higher for me had I not, by total coincidence, recently also played a game that clearly inspired this one, Herd Mentality (Coombes/Penn, 2020). Those who couldn’t grasp it from the teach, understood exactly what was going on after a round or two.The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products.

Editor’s Note 8/2023: This review uses the first edition of Green Team Wins, which came with supplies for 12 players. This was a game that we heard a fair amount of buzz about online, so we expected it to be a really fun party game. We had to throw in some Just One easels and make our own green team/orange team tiles when we played with more than six people, which works but just feels a bit disjointed.Prompts come in one of three types: Best of Three, where you choose the answer you think is the most popular, This or That, where you pick one of two options, or Fill in the Blank, where you’re given a word and have to fill in the associated word.
