It just felt like the author threw way too many impossible challenges at Gabriel and Julia almost at the same time, and then he may have realized this and tried to resolve some of them without giving a real explanation.

I absolutely ADORE the 'Gabriel's Inferno' series, and was thrilled to start reading this latest entry in the series. And while the main focus of this book is how to overcome the obstacle of pursuing their careers and maintaining their family life, there is another plot that will likely be played out over the course of the next book (and more? We get to know Clare, their newborn daughter and watch as their relationship changes from new married to new parents. Other things I would love to read more about would be what happens with Julia’s schooling in Edinburgh and Gabriel’s sage lectures, Rachel and Scott’s family building, Simon’s picking up the pieces of his wrecked relationship with his father and April, and more on Professor Pacciano, Christa Peterson, Paul Norris, Gabriel’s biological family, Tom Diane and Tommy, Richard and Rebecca, and finally Clare.His need for luxury gave us some funny moments when Julianne tried to guide her husband on a less privileged path in a need to avoid raising a spoiled brat! While this story may not pack the punch as some of the previous installments, I think fans of this couple will still enjoy the reunion, as I did.

I was hesitant to read this book in the first place, that is the reason, why I am reading it so far after they released it. This book left me wanting more and not in the I-can't-wait-for-the-next-book way but in the I-can't-believe-there-are-no-answers-way.Would love to see Gabriel’s promise in a movie and also another installment after Gabriel’s promise. Gabriel’s Inferno was the beginning of a series that changed my vision of life and transformed me in ways that I never thought any story could. When I saw that there was another book coming out about Professor Gabriel Emerson, I knew I had to read it. But I clearly remember beautiful prose, easy flow of the story and emotional impact that books had on me.

I'm interested in the way literature can help us explore aspects of the human condition - particularly suffering, sex, love, faith, and redemption.Sylvain Reynard is also the author of Gabriel's Inferno , Gabriel's Rapture , Gabriel's Redemption , The Raven , and The Shadow. After finishing Gabriel’s Promise there were some questions and pieces that I would love to see tied up. There were just too many unresolved issues, and with the ending, I'm still not clear all the open story lines came to a conclusion. There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data. Those readers experiencing the Gabriel Series for the first time with Gabriel’s Promise, it is essential to go back to the beginning and start with Gabriel’s Inferno – for the couple have come a long way since their days of student/teacher liaisons.

Fans of the love story between Gabriel and Julianne will love this new installment that marks a new chapter in the couple's life - parenthood. Gabriel’s Rapture,” has just finished filming in Italy and the production will be moving to the USA shortly. Though this book wasn't a favorite for me, this series still holds a special place in my heart and I think some fans of this series may love it, it just didn't quite work for me.This is the fourth book in this utterly enchanting series – and I have just reread the first three in anticipation of further goodness. This book spends a significant amount of time as the married couple adapted to parenting and the joys each day brings. If not, however, I think it's best if readers just stop after the third book and skip this one entirely. I fell in love with the good professor from the very first book and my love for him is still going strong.
