himdola - I just learned that the Amcrest AD410 (as well as the Dahua/Lorex 2K doorbell) have a “Quick Response” feature to play a pre-recorded message, including one you record yourself. It receives a wireless signal whenever someone presses the button on the exterior unit to sound the interior doorbell. When I asked if this requirement of having internet connectivity to setup the camera for some reason the fellow went dark. However, I am looking into upgrading my Home Assistant server to incorporate Tensorflow level of AI person/object detection. I haven't decided what I'm going to do with this camera yet but sometimes iIt's just not worth it to beat them at their own game and just go without.Using dchesterton/ amcrest2mqtt, you can easily generate MQTT sensors for the doorbell button and motion sensor. Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions. Additionally, blocking the unit from the internet results in it no longer working in the Amcrest app. I think the next steps would be to figure out how to grab the update file from Amcrest so we can move forward with getting SSH enabled.
