Pippa is an aspiring musician who travelled with her musician boyfriend who gaslit her and broke her self-confidence in her talent. I adored Jamie, he was such an amazing support to Pippa to make sure she begins to believe in herself again.

Jamie is a goalie for the Vancouver Storm, he has recently been signed by them to be closer to his mom, who has panic attacks.Stephanie Archer brings the heat in her Queen’s Cove series and this first book in a hockey romance series is no exception. Over time they learn much more about each other until they each finally reveal that they remembered each other and had crushes. it’s just beautiful to see how the grump starts to shed their closed-off exterior when the sunshine enters their life.

We have the mmc Jamie, a famous hockey player (a golie) and our fmc Pippa a music addict, recently broken up and starting over her life! I have to warn people though that this book is heavy on the insta-love and is quite cliche at times! PS3: I need a book about the situation between coach Ward, Jordan and Chris, pls give it to us, thankyou! She snatches up the first opportunity available to work for the Hockey team that could lead to a full-time position. Pippa and Jamie are perfect characters and I love how the two of them communicate and seem to feed off of each other.

I loved the story in this book, and how these were two adults that were supportive of each other during their highs and lows.
