Hasbro even blesses us with a rare pair of alternate hands for a BAF, giving the choice to pose Age of Apocalypse Colossus with fists for bashing or Zangief-like grappling hands. There are no surprises in the articulation, although he does lack the swivels in the lower legs that we often see in the modern Legends line. This Colossus vs Juggernaut set really did not require all of that new work, but that is not to say that everything wasn’t accounted for in terms of need here, because it totally was. All that said, we have not even gotten to the fact that figure also comes with two new open hands for grabby-grabby action, as well as a destroyed helmet that fits over an unmasked and severely beaten portrait head. Really though, it is not much as far as I can tell, it is mostly the arms and hands, which is perfectly appropriate.

These stay in place well and sit so tightly that my half-blind eyes didn’t even notice the belt wasn’t latched until I was done with the majority of the review photos. This is the set I was looking forward to the most in terms of the 80th Anniversary line, and for me, it does not disappoint. The girls toy aisles aren't our regular ball park but we occasionally like to try something different to our norm. HOWEVER, after years of doing this whole collecting thing, I recognize that I am one who looks for iconography in what I collect. saw the release of X-Men 102, with its iconic cover featuring the mighty Colossus and unstoppable Juggernaut locked in combat, setting the stage for a rivalry that would shake the Marvel Universe for decades. These highly articulated Marvel Legends Series figures feature intricate character detailing, making them excellent for both play and display. But if you have childhood memories of this dismal time, it’s probably a great wave of figures – except for that Cyclops thing they unleashed upon the world.
