About this deal

A must-have for blues and rock guitarists, the Big Joe B-301 Tube guitar effects pedal is an overdrive pedal with a vintage tone profile reminiscent of a screaming tube amp.

We do try to give a broad indication of the general condition in the description, but this is just a guide. So do not need a cab sim pedal for the AC Tone , the Wampler Thirty Something however is designed mainly to be used with an amp . Perhaps more to the point, it's not hard in our day, to legally make a product that circumvents the patent on another product but still has a virtually identical function. I did keep the Drive at 10 o/c and Volume at 12 o/c though as the PA was too big for the Venue anyway. The show required a classical guitar, an acoustic archtop, and an electric to cover clean, medium overdrive and heavier lead parts.

But it sounded good enough to use direct into the PA at rehearsal so I started leaving the amp in the vehicle. The MM Silver from budget guitar effects manufacturer Ammoon is much like the Mosky Audio TM overdrive: a clone of the popular Timmy drive stomp by Paul Cochrane. The Voice knob is really the secret weapon, try to "opposite match" this one and the mid knob for a consistent response, but a varying amount of "grit" in the overdrive. To turn the AC Tone into a British, 6 components values have to be changed, but maybe most of the tonal change could be achieved with 4 or less . I did try it at our Club some weeks ago, plugged into our standard back line amp and it was terrible and uncontrollable but its not meant to be used that way so i wasnt surprised really. Guitar Guitar Limited trading as guitarguitar acts as a credit broker not a lender and is Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, firm registration number 742103. This pedal puts you in Vox territory if you are looking for a direct-to-PA solution for something like recording or an amp-less setup(like my worship scenario).

Industry norms are approximately 70%, so that 15% saving is reducing your energy bill and softening your environmental impact on the planet. Don't get me wrong, cranked up at home or at a jam off the floor with no monitors, the tube amp wins hands down, but in a processed mix I really can't tell even the slightest difference. Steven_M wrote:As you can see from the graph above, the AC tone does more treble than both the British and Liverpool Tech 21 counterparts. in a box pedal i probably would go with the AMT F1 because i like the Fender clean, in your case the AMT V1, Vox in a box.If you have any questions about this item or would like to know more about it, please feel free to contact us with any specific questions and a member of our sales staff will get back to you straight away. Being able to switch between a 1x8, Vox 2x12, Fender 4x10 and Marshall 4x12 (based on videos I've listened to) sounds really intriguing, maybe more so than switching amp models.
