Just spent literally all my money at LFCC and will be living out of my overdraft for the foreseeable. As production is well into filming for series 9, I thought I would be fun to go through and break down the 12th Doctor’s costume the best that I can. The main buttons used are 1 inch horn buttons, though an odd dark brown vintage 1 inch plastic button is used on the wearer's right cuff and a black (possibly matte plastic) button is used on the top left of the front and likely on the back left (the right side button also appears to be missing). The Seventh Doctor spent his first hours in the Sixth Doctor's patchwork frock coat before switching for a silver grey safari jacket.
