About this deal

The dialogue felt a bit robotic and monotone, but that was defeated by the over empowering monologue with both the characters. London Noble è una psicologa, una brava, davvero brava, e decide di iniziare delle sedute con Grayson Pierce Sullivan, un uomo condannato per tanti omicidi. I really did enjoy this book, it was one I found myself racing towards the end to find out what happens but at the same time not really wanting it to end. Yet he finds justice and mercy in his actions- because all of his “victims” have choices- that’s how he offers clemency. It can be a scary adventure with a precarious outcome when she challenges her fans to come along for the ride.

Regardless of how you feel about Grayson's sickly behavior, he has moments of vulnerability that shows a human side you can't ignore. Initially it seems like the motive is for Grayson to get out of custody, and make London fall in love with him, but as the story slowly unravels, you realize that there are layer. This man should’ve made me sick to my stomach with his past transgressions but there was so much more to him. In this safe haven, I can confess my excitement, my arousal at watching the woman be bound and racked until her limbs snapped. I feel like I was taken on a crazy ride with no stops in sight and all I want to do right now is just drink! His intelligence is above anything London has ever experienced, and he knows EXACTLY what he’s doing.

Doctor London Nobel and serial killer Grayson Sullivan see things within each other that they shouldn’t: a kindred spirit.

If you are looking for a tense, gripping edge of the seat, twisted kind of read this is definitely for you! Everything that happened during and after Grayson's arraignment scene I felt very indifferent towards.

Lei non è affatto intimidita da quest'uomo, non solo perchè è sempre ammanettato durante le loro sedute, ma perchè fa parte del suo lavoro capire le persone come lui, capire cosa gli passa per la testa mentre fanno queste cose orribili. This book set out to take the Robin Hood complex with it's romance, we saw the equally deranged and broken thought processes of both Grayson and London. They were like two different poles of a magnet, attracting each other, unable to fight the gravitational pull. My head is spinning with so many questions right now, I can’t even articulate what I want to say without dropping some much needed F bombs. Throwback to that time last year when I'd gotten so good at folding paper swans that I'd managed to pretty perfectly fold this nano Swan that fit in the pads of my thumb. Her work has been featured and taught in some of the best classes in understanding the mind of serial killers and how they operate. But London hides a secret- a deadly past that if were to come out, could destroy not just her career, but her entire life. With literally hands in the air in middle of a crowded train, because that deserved a very loud, very vocal applaud people. A dark and twisted maze awaits criminal psychologist London Noble when she falls for her patient, convicted serial killer, Grayson Pierce Sullivan. As said, I really enjoyed the psychological aspects of this story as well as the ways details of both main characters' pasts were peeled away layer by layer as the story progressed.

Being the first book I’m reading by Wolfe, I wasn’t sure what to think about her, because I think she hasn’t been big among my circle of readers, and plus I avoided reading the reviews as well, so I was very blind. I was in college waiting for a seminar to begin when I started this book, and I literally had to walk out because it was either that or put the book down, and I couldn’t put this book down goddammit! This man might’ve been behind bars for the past year or so, but that doesn’t stop him from playing with London’s body and mind, and the end result is raw, passionate, and PRIMAL. The way they were self aware, always in each other's head and catching up with what game the other one was trying to play makes this more enjoyable because they weren't each other's victim. I need more time to arrange my emotions, but one thing that I know is that this is definitely a fantastic book.I mean, I’m here for the occasional dark romance and I was excited to get to this as I’d heard lots of good things about it, but that was darker than I anticipated.
