About this deal

Thank you for the review I thought it might of been just my baby but I used newborn pampers and they were awful .

I have tired Asda, Tesco, Morrisons sainsburys, boots, Lidl, pampers and even kit and kin nappies but I honestly have to say after reviewing the Aldi nappies they are by far the best, all other nappies leaked her poop but so far we haven’t had a leak with these. If something’s not right down there, she’ll sniff it out, but the Mamia New Born Nappies stood up to the challenge. The wetness indicator, a clever strip that changes colour when wet, helps you to know when your baby might need a nappy change.

My girl has never had nappy rash since using the mamia nappies as they are super soft and absorb really quickly.A soft stretchy waistband, leg cuffs, resealable tabs and soft breathable layers give a more comfortable and snug fit for you baby. The blue indicator for a wet nappy is useful, and the nappy feels slightly larger than other newborn nappies. The Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) are international organisations that work to promote sustainable and responsible forest management. The Pampers flaps are really narrow and give the nappies a really high cut fit when on (like a Baywatch bathing suit…) that I think looks uncomfortable and makes the nappy more prone to leaks. The Ultra-Dry Air system provides up to 2 x faster absorption and helps distribute liquid evenly to provide ultimate protection and comfort for your new baby.

Aldi own-brand Mamia nappies Size 2 are designed for newborns weighing between 3 and 6 kg (between 6 and 13 lbs). I agree size 3 was a total different quality - felt thinner and no wetness indicator but honestly they do the job and no leaks!

The Co-Op has this year relaunched most of its baby products, and its nappy range now comes adorned with quirky illustrations by children’s book author Jim Fields - a lovely touch to keep little ones happy. They’re also made with super stretchy fabric and formulated with Mamia’s innovative Dry Fast Technology™ to help keep your baby fresh and dry for longer. Aldi quality and pricing is very good and we would definitely recommend Aldi Mamia nappies to other parents. I did try the premium size 3s but I am happy to stick with the normal size 3's as they are so much cheaper - and I have twins so go through ALOT of nappies! We very rarely have leaks, they are good value for money, they have nice patterns on and a wetness indicator.
