One of the primary objectives FujiFilm set out to achieve in this series was to make the camera appealing to SLR users looking for an affordable and versatile digital alternative. They've achieved this, not just in the shape and build of the camera housing, but also in the layout of the controls. FujiFilm has always scored highly when it comes to intuitive design and the S5600 is no exception. Note: These ISO test shots were taken in the late 11th century, which was the last time we had any sunshine in this country. I used automatic white balance and program exposure, and all shots were hand held at the widest zoom setting. Unusually for a Fujifilm camera, colours are slightly under-saturated in the standard shooting mode, although the level of detail is very good.

Fujifilm FinePix S5200 - Wikipedia

Fujifilm has today announced the third incarnation of its S series, the FinePix S5200 Zoom (US) S5600 Zoom (Europe). The 5.1 megapixel mini SLR-style camera boasts a 10x optical zoom and Anti Blur mode which is, Fujifilm says, more effective than image stabilization, ISO up to 1600 and a 5th generation of Super CCD HR sensor. It also offers full manual control, VGA movie mode and RAW image capture. The FinePix S5200 will be available in September. Although the S5600 is happy shooting interiors thanks to the impressive ISO range, AF-assist lamp and powerful flash, it's perhaps best suited for outdoor photography where users can really take advantage of its strong but lightweight body, range of shooting modes and long-range zoom lens. MyFinePix Studio contains a variety of features to help you manage and organize your photos. You use some of the tools to create albums to store and organize your photos, or use the tagging system to label and categorize your images. It also provides a range of filters and editing tools to help you fine-tune your photos and videos. Enhance, edit and print photos from your FUJIFILM camera Adrian Clarke from Fujifilm comments: ?We feel we?ve made just the right adjustments with the S5600 Zoom to build upon the huge success of its predecessors without compromising a winning formula.? Beneath its robust body lie the sensor enhancements that make the FinePix S5200 Zoom punch above its weight. Boasting a new 5th Generation five megapixel Super CCD HR sensor and Fujifilm’s new Real Photo Technology, the FinePix S5200 Zoom has the power to capture large images with incredible clarity and detail in a range of lighting conditions.Powerful zoom camera improves on successful Fujifilm formula with Anti-Blur Mode and lightning fast response times The manual settings which the s5200 featured allow much control over the image, such settings like TTL metering, ISO, flash, Macro, White Balance and Red Eye Reduction could be manipulated. At the maximum sensitivity setting of 1600 ISO there is some image noise present, and a lot of fine detail has been sacrificed, but colour rendition is still very good and the image would still make a decent print. At 800 ISO there is some image noise starting to appear in the darker areas, and some fine detail has been lost to the noise reduction system, but the results are still extremely good.

The lens itself is more compact than its predecessor’s, but retains the flexible zoom range from wide angle to telephoto, enabling users to shoot from distance or close up. A fixed lens housing also ensures fast start-up time of just 1.1 seconds, so the moment will never be missed. Complete with an unrivalled sensitivity range from ISO 64 to ISO 1600, the camera makes it possible to achieve crisp photographs with minimal noise, even in very low light conditions. The Anti-Blur Mode, which exploits the camera’s exceptional ISO capabilities, reduces blurring caused by movement of the user, as well as movement blur caused by the subject, making it much more effective than image stabilisation technology alone. This article needs additional citations for verification.
