Tentative Product Description: Now you can treat your dolls on winter holidays with the first-ever Bratz Minis Advent Calendar 2022 that will come in total with 24 Bratz Minis dolls! May 5: The first sneak peek of Series 3 Tiana is revealed via a StyleCaster article in collaboration with Bratz. To celebrate the Bratz 21st birthday in style, the brands will hit the Goldstein House x Club James in Beverly Hills, Calif. with an exclusive, star-studded event, hosted by Cult Gaia and influencer Stassie Karanikolaou. With “bratty” as the suggested attire, attendees can look forward to channeling ’00 nostalgia by flaunting their favorite halter tops, flared bottoms, and cutout dresses, as well as their unshakeable Bratitude. To highlight the brands’ passion for fashion, Bratz and Cult Gaia have partnered with Up Next Designer Albert Ayal who will be dressing party guests in curated looks from up and coming designers. As of June 2023, this collection is expected to be a reproduction of the Slumber Party line. If so, it is unknown if this will be a reproduction of the first or second edition of the Slumber Party line.

July 12: Images of reproductions of XPress It! Meygan, Formal Funk Runway Disco Nevra, Wild Wild West Kiana, and Ooh La La Kumi are leaked.

Just like the face application method section, feel free to skip this portion if you’ve already read my explanations on the differences between Bratz hair types! Nylon hair is the current standard for the Bratz brand, as is the case for most MGA doll brands since 2019. For context on some of the different hair types used on Bratz, nylon has often been confused with polypropylene, a hair fiber that was used in a majority of lines between 2008-2013 and is known for being hard to manage and prone to degrading over time, because of a name mix-up over a decade ago. Saran—which has been used on most Bratz released between 2001-2007, 2015-2018, and on most of the Bratz 20 Yearz Special Edition dolls (except for some later variants which use nylon) released in 2021—is a great hair fiber that has always satisfied collectors, though it is prone to yellowing and breakage over time. Nylon is another premium hair type that can be easily restyled with heated hair tools and is less likely to degrade over time like saran and polypropylene can do. Saran hair is harder to come by in certain colors and is not as commonly used in modern doll productions due to rising prices, so nylon provides a way for consumers to have these hair colors without resorting to using low-grade polypropylene. Nylon also tends to feel really nice and oftentimes better than saran. BIRTHDAY EDITION: In celebration of Bratz turning 21 yearz old, collect these special Bratz Girls Nite Out fashion dolls featuring a 21st Birthday Edition motif! New this year, the iconic pair teamed up on a ready-to-wear fashion line launched in early 2022. The line featured Y2K elements infused with Cult Gaia’s recognizable and classic style. Now, the two powerhouse brands have teamed up again to introduce the first-ever Bratz x Cult Gaia designer dolls, launched October 1, to tell their story of kinship in a new way.

This doll was originally slated for a January 2024 release, then changed to December 2023. However, the doll was officially released in November 2023. Whether you love it or hate it, the Bratz budget dolls provide an affordable option for international collectors while also appealing to kids who simply love to play with dolls. A lot of the online doll community consists of adult collectors who often don’t understand that not all dolls are produced with them in mind—this is an instance where Bratz can reach a younger demographic and give international collectors access to affordable Bratz dolls. I love that MGA is taking more steps to reach its global fanbase and I hope these efforts continue! And don’t forget that this line is delivering a high quality product at an affordable price point compared to the brand’s competitors—that’s always a win! There has been no indication that a new Bratz movie will be coming out. In September 2023, Bratz released a new single titled “We’re The Bratz”—the theme song of their Alwayz Bratz series, which can be streamed on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube. A burning question for many fans is: What type of hair do the Series 3 dolls use? All of the dolls featured in this collection originally used saran hair, which was the standard for Bratz dolls during their prime years. In short, the Series 3 dolls use premium nylon hair. Read below for an overview on hair types used on Bratz dolls! Welcome to the Bratz 2023 Masterpost! You know the drill! New year, new Bratz! This post will act as an organized for Bratz fans regarding news that comes out this year, and will be consistently updated with news as it comes out. If it’s not in this article, then I don’t have information on it. timeline of newsOctober 31: The first in-box picture of the Alwayz Bratz dolls is revealed via an MGA employee’s LinkedIn profile. Just like the face printing method section, feel free to skip this section if you’ve already read my explanations on the differences between Bratz hair types! Nylon hair appears to be a new standard for the Bratz brand, as is the case for most MGA doll brands (except for Dream Ella who has been using polypropylene, sorry girl!) since 2019, which is something I fully support. For some context on some of the different hair types used on Bratz, nylon has often been confused with polypropylene, which is a hair fiber that was used in a majority of lines between 2008-2013 and is known for being hard to manage and prone to degrading over time, because of a name mix-up over a decade ago. Saran hair is harder to come by in certain colors and is not as commonly used in modern doll productions, so nylon provides a way for consumers to have these hair colors without resorting to using low-grade polypropylene. Nylon also tends to feel really nice and oftentimes better than saran, so I hope this is something that stays for most—if not all—future Bratz doll releases.
